Really surprised that no one has pointed out this was not made famous by rod Stewart but by the faces of which he was lead singer. The track was released at a time when rod was running two careers one as lead singer with the faces and an increasingly successful solo career. As rods popularity grew the record company and promoters would refer to rod Stewart and the faces which caused friction within the band. However this track is a faces track it was on its release in 71and remains so today
