New version is slightly slower than the first version, although any music-editing software can change this anyway. The solo guitar backing has a bit more tremolo (rather like the original)so overall probably a bit better although not hugely so! -

Slightly slower than the previous version(which I'd slowed down anyway) but with more dynamic vocal and instrumental backing. However the lead guitar, an integral part of this track, is panned permanently to the left, which for me just doesn't work. It may be true to the 1961 recording, when stereo was elementary but the guitar is too far away. It will probably work well in mono!Karaoke Version 9 years agoEffectively the lead is panned at left, as we refer to the 1961 version.We've tried to preserve it's own ambiance.
